Picture 8A song is a record, a poem is a record, a story is a record, a painting is a record, a film is a record,  HitRECord! Founded by Joseph Gorden-Levitt the website HitRECord.org is essentially an online ‘recording studio’ where anyone with an internet connection can upload their RECords, download and remix other records and collaborate on productions together.

HitRECord.org is an experiment helping to change the way people think about art and media. HitRECORD is a growing and thriving community, it’s a fun game, and it’s now a whole new way of doing business. HitRECord.org os an unprecedented opportunity, it empowers us to become a part of the art that we love.

INDIE GoGo

EXPRESION EN CORTO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

Picture 1Since 1997 the Expresión en Corto International Film Festival has been held during the final week of July in the cities of San Miguel de Allende and Guanajuato Capital, Mexico. The festival estimates an attendance of over 72,000 total audience members and receives over 1,750 films from more than 80 participating countries in its international competition. More than 300 films are screened from 10am until 4am each day in 18venues, which include such unusual locations as: the Jardín Principal (main square) of San Miguel de Allende; the classical open-air staircase of the University of Guanajuato; the subterranean streets and tunnels beneath Guanajuato Capital (where gay, lesbian, erotic and underground films are projected); as well as horror films that are screened in both municipal graveyards (panteónes).
